1
Speakers Bureau
A group of volunteer speakers trained to share their mental health story with the community. Speakers include individuals sharing their own mental health experience, or their experience as a family member who has a loved one with mental illness. Our Speakers Bureau volunteers assist with most of our community presentations.
2
General Mental Health Presentation
A general presentation about NAMI, mental health, and the programs and services NAMI offers at no charge to the community. The presentation focus can be tailored to areas important to your group, both by adapting the content covered and by the individual stories shared from our speakers bureau.
3
NAMI Ending the Silence
This program, developed by NAMI's national office, is an approximately 1-hour presentation that helps audience members learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms. There is a version of this presentation that is tailored for middle or high school students, and one for adults with middle or high school youth. This presentation can be customized to fit the time constraints of your organization.

Community Fair/Expo Booth
NAMI Volunteers are trained to staff a booth or table at a variety of community or resource fairs, business expos or other community events. These events are designed to provide information and/or resources to the general community.
